On this episode of I Have a Question For, we asked Sidney Baptista, founder of PYNRS, about what type of marketing avenues he used when building his brand from scratch.

There are the more commonly used marketing strategies for startups such as:

  • Email

  • Social Media

  • Blogging

  • Paid Ads

Which all have their clear benefits. But Sidney spoke about a couple growing avenues, Podcasts and Text Messaging.

Podcasting is a great way to promote your brand. You can directly connect to a niche audience, talk to experts on subject matter, go on other podcasts to cross-promote your brand and is a growing advertising platform.

Text Messaging is another emerging marketing platform thanks to the higher response rates than Email campaigns. It’s definitely something we will see more of in the future and a creative way to inform and connect with your consumers.
